Another example of a relatively subtle portrait revision:

In this portrait, all skinparts are significantly revised, folds and wrinkles largely removed or retouched and freckles were significantly reduced. It is of course purely a matter of opinion whether the freckles actually should completely disappear, here, this was the express wish of the portrayed person.
The nose was only very slightly corrected in the form and only a minimal virtual beauty-OP was necessary.
The background was newly recovered and discreet in the shoulder area a very slight streamlining was done. In detail the teeth are brightened and the color of the lipstick aligned to the color of the Pullover.

Overall, you see the impression of rejuvenation and freshness without to deceive too much the viewer. Of course we could still work out many other issues in this portrait to deal with them, but the result of the portrait process should not be too far from original to avoid unnaturalness impressions.
This kind of portrait revision, for example, is dedicated for an application pack or for presentation at a partnership-brokerage on the Internet.

Often may cause a subtle embellishment wonders and the success rate may arise significantly. Of course, this applies especially for professions in which a pleasant appearance is important.

The basic image may created by a private photo suffice. The appeal of the homemade photos is often in the naturalness, spontaneity and originality to see.
